United Kingdom & Eire Malaysian Law Students' Union (KPUM) Firm Visit 2026
Nothing beats a room full of curious law students asking questions and, on 20 August, we hosted 30 of them from United Kingdom & Eire Malaysian Law Students' Union (KPUM) for a Firm visit.
Our Partners Indran Shanmuganathan, Suganthi Singam, Jimmy Liew and Zhen Pik L. spoke on “𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗟𝗮𝘄𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀”, sharing valuable insights and real-life examples of a lawyer's role in helping businesses succeed.
Our associate Wei Qing and pupils Charlene Pang, Dylan Yap and Tesyia Naveen then took the floor, tackling the topic “𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲: 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗧𝗼𝗽-𝗧𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗺”, offering the students candid looks at the valuable lessons they learnt working in a large law Firm.
The visit closed with a networking session and light refreshments, giving everyone a chance to connect beyond the formal talks.
For us, hosting the next generation of lawyers is not just something we do — it is something we genuinely enjoy!
