The Environmental, Social & Governance Practice Group deals with both contentious and non-contentious work, advising and representing local and foreign clients on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues affecting trade and industrial activity. The Group has represented clients from the public and private sectors such as key utility companies, oil producers, chemical companies, automotive companies, mining companies, biomass and solar energy companies, food and beverage companies, semiconductor companies, manufacturing companies as well as financial institutions.

We advise on agreements in energy, natural resources & green technology projects, licensing, operation and management matters as well as other associated agreements. We offer support on construction and project management agreements as well as land acquisition and other land issues. We help clients to optimise their compliance strategies, whilst simultaneously helping them to take advantage of available tax breaks. We also assist in liaising with the relevant government ministries and regulatory bodies.
