Corporate Readiness 2026: From Tax Compliance to Competitive Advantage

Following the overwhelming response from the "2024 Mastering Tax & Corporate Compliance Conference" held last year, our Tax, Trade & Customs Practice Group, in collaboration with BoardRoom Group, has once again organised its complimentary tax conference this year.

Themed "Corporate Readiness 2026: From Tax Compliance to Competitive Advantage", this year’s conference was also held as appreciation for our clients and contacts who have supported us along the way in our recent recognitions at the International Tax Review Awards 2025, where our Tax, Trade & Customs Practice Group received the following awards at the regional and national levels:

  • Asia-Pacific Tax Law Firm of the Year
  • Asia-Pacific Tax Litigation Law Firm of the Year
  • Asia-Pacific Impact Case of the Year – Director General of Inland Revenue v Kind Action
  • Malaysia Tax Disputes Firm of the Year

The conference, which was held on 4 December 2025, brought together industry players for an afternoon of insights into the policies and trends shaping Malaysia’s tax law landscape in 2026 and beyond. The speakers shared their insights and experience across a wide range of topics in their respective sessions.

We were thrilled to see such strong engagement throughout the sessions and the meaningful conversations over dinner and drinks after the programme.

A heartfelt thank you to all participants who attended, contributed, and connected with our speakers!

Note: In an effort to host a sustainable conference, the additional food supplied for the conference was donated to a youth rehabilitation centre.
