China Desk's Visit to China 2026

In March 2026, our China Desk undertook a five-day visit to China, with meetings held in Shanghai and Hangzhou. The trip forms part of our ongoing engagement with Chinese clients, Partners and stakeholders with interests in Malaysia and the Southeast Asia region. Partners Yee Mei Ken, Pamela Kung, Nicholas Tan and Lilien Wong shared insights on investing into Malaysia, focusing on legal and regulatory considerations relevant to cross-border projects. The visit was aimed at supporting clients’ legal needs arising from China–Malaysia investments, and reinforcing our readiness to provide practical, on-the-ground legal support for China-related matters.
