Some weekends are just weekends. But once a year, our Shearn Delamore & Co. family gathers for something far more special - a celebration of our people, our journey, and the moments that bind us together.
Last weekend, we traded the busy streets of Kuala Lumpur for the historic beauty of Melaka, where we enjoyed a 3D2N stay at the Dusit Princess Hotel. It was a short retreat from courtrooms, case files, and city life.
Our evening began with a heartfelt speech from our Managing Partner,Rodney Gomez , who reflected on our journey and the future we are shaping together, as we marked our 120th anniversary under this year’s Annual Dinner & Dance theme, ‘𝘗𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘖𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵.’ The night sparkled with performances by our talented staff, lawyers, and pupils, with each act showcasing the creativity and spirit that define our firm. We also proudly honoured our long-serving staff, whose dedication has been the quiet strength behind who we are as our firm today. Amidst the door gifts, lucky draws, games, Best Dressed Awards, and laughter over dinner, the evening was a true reflection of the energy and camaraderie that define our Annual Dinner & Dance.
