An Evening for In-House Leaders 2026
Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) co-hosted its first event recently in Kuala Lumpur at The RuMa Hotel with Shearn Delamore & Co.
Aptly titled “An Evening for In-House Leaders”, the evening brought together senior in-house legal leaders from around the region to connect, exchange perspectives, and foster meaningful relationships with one another, marking an exciting milestone for ACC's growing presence in the Malaysian legal community. ACC is a Global Legal Association that promotes the common professional and business interests of in-house counsel who work for corporations, associations, and other organizations through information, education, networking, and advocacy.
The evening commenced with welcome remarks by our Lilien W. alongside Julien Bergerat, Head of Legal and Company Secretary at PrefChem, who delivered remarks on behalf of the ACC. Anand Raj who is also the President of the Malaysian Bar Council also reflected on the firm's journey, highlighting recent milestones and expressing appreciation to the corporate counsel community for its continued trust and partnership.
At Shearn Delamore & Co., we are proud to support initiatives that strengthen connections within the legal profession and encourage dialogue on the evolving role of in-house counsel. It was a pleasure to welcome so many members of the corporate legal community to this this inaugural gathering.
