7th Dispute Resolution (DR) Evening Talk Series

On 11th July 2025, Shearn Delamore & Co.’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group held its 7th Dispute Resolution (DR) Evening Talk Series for this year . This 7th instalment of the talk series was led by our Partner,Michelle Lim with her topic “Construction Adjudication”.

Michelle Lim is widely known for her practice areas which include litigation, arbitration, adjudication, and mediation, with particular emphasis on building and construction laws. During the session, she offered valuable insight into what the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act (CIPAA) is, along with its applicability in Malaysia. This session provided our current and future young lawyers with a deeper understanding of how CIPAA functions to address payment disputes in the construction sector.
