[WLG] Election of Asia Regional Director

Shearn Delamore & Co. is pleased to announce that our Partner, Suganthi Singam, has been elected as one of the Directors of the World Law Group ("WLG") at its recent biannual meeting in Seattle.

Shearn Delamore & Co. has always been active in cultivating meaningful relationships with foreign law firms via various global alliances. Vis-à-vis the WLG, Shearn Delamore & Co. has been a longstanding member since 1996 of this expansive global network that comprises 62 law firms across 87 countries.

Over the past 20 years, Suganthi Singam has been involved in various roles and initiatives within the WLG, contributing to governance, international collaboration, and knowledge-sharing activities. She has been the Co-Chair of the Employment Law Group for many years.

Suganthi Singam’s election as a Director is testament to her active engagement and recognition by her international peers. She joins our partners (past and present) who were previously also elected to serve as office bearers, including Pamela Kung (former director for the WLG, Asia-Pacific) and Swee Kee Ng (Consultant) (first as a director for the WLG, Asia Pacific and subsequently, as the WLG President).

In her new role as Director, she will participate in the Group’s global initiatives and represent the Asian perspective in its ongoing activities.
