On 13 September 2019, our Partner and lawyers from the Intellectual Property Practice, Michelle Loi, Sim Sook Eng and Yap Khai Jian were invited for the second time round to give a refresher course on Personal Data Protection (“PDP”).
PDP compliance is not a one-off but an ongoing process, and we are honoured to share the latest updates and developments during this refresher course. The half-day session was an interactive one as various PDP-related issues were raised from the floor. Topics raised included the basic principles of PDP, and the Standards issued by the PDP commission.
