We have a wide range of clients including many international financial institutions and multinational conglomerates, many of which have offices here in Malaysia and hire foreign employees or second such employees to Malaysia. We therefore advise and assist such companies in obtaining the relevant work related passes for their employees who are professionals or personnel at technical, executive and managerial levels who have been assigned to work in Malaysia.
We also assist in obtaining dependant’s passes or long-term visit pass (social) for such employees’ family members to stay in Malaysia for the duration of their assignment in Malaysia.
Our Immigration Practice also advises and assists international clients on the establishment of regional operations in Malaysia such as representative offices, regional offices and approved operational headquarters companies. Invariably these entities would want to employ at least some foreign employees or employees seconded from their headquarters. We therefore also advise and assist such entities in obtaining the relevant passes for their foreign employees and family members who accompany them to Malaysia.
